Davon Henderson got his start in the music industry as a member of the gospel group, Men of Favor.  However, he left the group to pursue his education but ultimately decided to leave school when his sister lost her courageous battle with Sickle Cell Anemia.

He started EyeStar Records, in memory of his sister, who was his biggest fan. Immersing himself in the music business revitalized his vigor. He saw the struggles that many new performers faced without the knowledge and resources needed to enter the entertainment business. He also knew that this was his golden opportunity to give back to the community, paying it forward, helping future artist forge their path into the music industry.

When he’s not working with or promoting his artist, you can find him hosting various community outreach programs, along with his mentor, The Legendary Pastor John P. Kee, or Greenville’s own Petey Pablo. Through the philanthropic acts and charitable donations by him and his many other celebrity friends he has been fortunate to give away scholarships, hold food drives and organize community support groups.
